About Tap Double-Tap REMAKE!
A reaction game built entirely on one ambiguity, in that the same gesture means two different things depending on whether you do it once or twice. The ball has to reach the correctly coloured half of the screen, and every mistake is a hand that moved before the reading finished.
How to play
- A ball sits in the centre and has to be sent to the half of the screen matching the colour required.
- The publisher states that a single tap sends it to the left.
- Two taps in quick succession send it to the right instead.
- The difficulty is entirely in choosing between those two before the moment passes.
Tips
- Decide the direction before your hand moves. Where one and two of the same gesture mean opposite things, hesitation itself reads as an input.
- If the right-hand side is where you keep failing, make the pair deliberate rather than merely fast. A hurried second tap is the input most easily lost.
