About Swipe Art Puzzle
A sliding picture puzzle built from old master paintings, several of them quietly altered for a joke. The art is the point of difference. Familiar compositions are easier to reassemble than photographs, and the alterations give you a reason to look at the finished picture.
How to play
- Each puzzle scrambles a famous painting into movable pieces.
- Move the pieces around until the original composition is restored.
- A puzzle is complete when the image reads correctly again.
Tips
- Settle the corners and the outer edge first, then work inward. It is the standard method for this format and it beats intuition every time.
- Look at the finished painting first if the game will show it. Knowing where the joke has been inserted stops you rejecting a piece that was correct.
