About Zoo Trivia
An animal-naming quiz where the spelling counts. Pictures come up and you have to produce the name, which is a harder ask than choosing from four options and rather more satisfying when it lands. A hint system is there for the ones that refuse to come.
How to play
- Animals are presented for you to identify by name.
- The name has to be spelled correctly, not merely recognised.
- Mammals, fish, insects and household pets all appear.
- A hint system is available when an answer will not come.
Tips
- Say the name aloud before spelling it. Most of the failures here are spelling failures on animals you knew perfectly well.
- Break a long name into parts rather than reaching for a hint. The spelling usually reassembles itself once the first half is down.
