Breakout with a checkpoint system bolted on. Clearing a group of stages unlocks the next group so you can resume there, but the scoreboard rewards starting from the beginning and going the whole way. Which of those two you are playing for changes the game more than the bricks do.

How to play

• Clear the bricks on each stage by keeping the ball in play.
• Progress banks in groups of stages, and clearing a group opens the next one to resume from.
• You can also restart from the first stage, which is how a higher total score is built.
• The run ends when the ball gets past you.

Tips

• Decide before starting whether you are chasing progress or score. Resuming from a checkpoint forfeits everything the earlier stages would have paid you.
• Open a channel up one side and let the ball work the top of the wall. It is the oldest trick in the genre because it is still the most efficient one.
