Snakes and Ladders, the board game with no decisions in it whatsoever, now with an online mode attached. That sounds like a complaint and is not: a race settled entirely by dice is exactly why it works with children and strangers alike.
How to play
- Roll the dice and move your piece along the board.
- Ladders carry you forward and snakes send you back down.
- Three modes are offered: online multiplayer, a computer opponent, or two players sharing a device.
- The first piece to the final square wins.
Tips
- There is nothing here to play well, so play it for the company. The online and shared-device modes are the reason to open it rather than the solo one.
- Good for playing alongside somebody who does not play games. The rules explain themselves inside one turn and nobody starts at a disadvantage.
