About Sliding Slide
The classic sliding image puzzle, with a small set of pictures and a choice of how finely each one is cut. Solving is only half of it: the game keeps your best times, so once a picture is familiar the exercise turns into shaving seconds off a route you already know.
How to play
- Choose a picture and a difficulty before you start.
- Difficulty sets how many tiles the image is broken into.
- Slide tiles into the gap until the image is back in order.
- Your completion time is recorded, so pace counts as well as solving.
Tips
- Solve the top row and left column first, then leave them alone. Reducing the rest down to a two-by-two is the standard method and it is much faster than intuition.
- Learn one picture properly before switching. Times improve because you know where each tile belongs, not because you slide faster.
