A number-merging puzzle with a single verb. Connect neighbouring tiles that share a value and they become the next number up. The target in the name sounds modest until you work out how much of the board each step upwards actually consumes.
How to play
- Connect adjacent tiles that share the same number.
- The connected group collapses into one tile of the next number up.
- Keep merging upward to reach higher values.
- The board is your working space, so every merge is also a space decision.
Tips
- Build one high tile rather than several middling ones. Two separate fives are worth far less than the six they could have made.
- Take the largest available group over the most convenient one. Group size is the only lever you have on how fast the numbers climb.
