About Flow Mania
The pipe-connection puzzle in its purest form. Pairs of coloured dots have to be joined, the paths may not cross, and every square on the board has to end up covered. That last rule is what turns it from a drawing exercise into a genuine constraint problem.
How to play
- Join each pair of matching coloured dots with a pipe.
- Pipes may not cross or overlap one another.
- Every square on the board has to be covered when you are finished.
- A board is only complete when both of those conditions hold at once.
Tips
- Start with the pair that has the fewest possible routes, usually a pair tucked near a corner. Forced moves cost nothing and shrink the problem for free.
- The full-coverage rule is the hint, not the obstacle. A path that strands a square nothing else can reach is wrong even though it connected its own pair.
