Nothing retro about it. This is a construction simulator and the machinery is the content. An excavator, a crane, a road roller and a dumper truck each handle a stage of the job, and the interest is in the order a real road actually gets built in rather than in any score.

How to play

• Operate heavy machinery to build and repair city roads.
• The fleet includes an excavator, a crane, a road roller and a dumper truck.
• Each machine covers a different stage of the construction work.
• The camera is arranged to give a working view from the vehicle itself.

Tips

• Machine simulators reward small movements. The hydraulics are deliberately slow, and fighting that is what tips loads over.
• Learn one machine at a time. Each does a different job, and a stage done badly usually has to be redone before the next one works at all.
