About Simply Breakout
Brick breaker with the ambition turned all the way down, which the title admits before you open it. A ball, a paddle, a wall, and enough levels and extra objects to keep the pattern from repeating too quickly. It exists to be understood in three seconds and it manages that.
How to play
- Keep the ball in play using the paddle below it.
- Bricks break when the ball reaches them.
- Clearing the bricks completes a level, and there are many levels to work through.
- Various objects turn up across the levels to change how a round goes.
Tips
- Break through one side of the wall rather than shaving it evenly. A ball loose above the bricks does more work in five seconds than you will in a minute.
- Move to meet the ball rather than reacting once it arrives. Getting there early is what turns a scramble into a returned shot.
