A platformer with a gun, described by its publisher in one sentence and named after its own genre. Lots of weapons, several levels, different enemies, and that is the entire specification. Games labelled this plainly tend to be exactly what the label says, which is not always a criticism.

How to play

• Move through platforming levels and shoot the enemies in them.
• A number of weapons are available across the game.
• Enemy types vary from level to level.
• The publisher calls the levels challenging without saying what makes them so.

Tips

• Shoot from a platform above the target where possible. Height in a 2D shooter converts into reaction time, which is the only resource that matters.
• Avoid fighting while airborne. In platform shooters a jump commits your position for its whole arc, and anything below gets a free shot at it.
