About Ball Thief vs Police

A 2D platformer with a cops-and-robbers frame. You play the thief, the money bags are the collectables, and the police and the spikes are the two things that end an attempt. Eight levels that get harder as you go, and the publisher gives you only five lives to start with.

How to play

• Collect the bags of money scattered through each of the eight levels.
• Police and spikes both cost a life, so avoiding them is the whole defensive game.
• Movement is on the WASD cluster or the arrow keys.
• A double jump sits on the up direction of either scheme.
• Difficulty rises as you work through the eight levels.

Tips

• Treat the early levels as free practice. Dying in level one costs the same life as dying in level eight, and the levels you have not seen yet are where you will want the spare.
• The double jump is a correction tool as much as a reach tool. Save the second one until you can see where the first has put you.
