About Big Donuts Mania
Match three, with doughnuts. Swap two neighbouring sweets to line up three or more, they clear for points, and a high-score table keeps the total. The genre was solved twenty years ago and this version is content to play it straight, which is not the worst thing a match-three can be.
How to play
- Swap the positions of two adjacent doughnuts to build a line of three or more.
- The publisher documents both tapping and dragging as ways to make that swap.
- Matched doughnuts clear from the board and award points.
- Score is the whole of the progression, tracked against a high-score table.
Tips
- Work the bottom of the board first. Anything you clear low down reshuffles everything above it, and that is where chains come from without being planned.
- Before taking an obvious three, check whether one more move turns it into a longer line. Larger groups pay more and the board rarely withdraws the option immediately.
