About Roll this Ball
A sliding-tile puzzle with a steel ball waiting at the end of it. The route to the red goal already exists in fragments across the board, and you shuffle wooden tiles until those fragments connect. Restrained, unhurried, and rather harder than the wooden-toy presentation suggests.
How to play
- Slide the wooden tiles around the board to rearrange the route.
- The aim is an unbroken path from the ball to the red goal.
- Once that path is complete, the ball can travel it.
- Tiles can only move into space the board actually gives you.
Tips
- Build the path backwards from the goal. The final tiles have the fewest valid positions, so fixing them first removes most of the guesswork.
- Only disturb a tile you have already placed correctly when you have a reason. In sliding puzzles most of the lost time goes on undoing your own good work.
