You run an office and the only lever you have is saying yes or no. Employees bring you requests, every answer moves their mood one way or the other, and motivation falling too low turns the workplace into something you have to contain. It is people management with the spreadsheet removed.
How to play
- You play the boss, and hiring the staff is part of the job.
- Employees come to you with requests to approve or refuse.
- Each decision moves an employee toward happy or toward unhappy.
- Motivation dropping too low leads to employees behaving badly.
Tips
- Refusals are not free, but neither are approvals. Watch which one you default to across a run, because the pattern is what the game is measuring.
- When motivation slips, fix that before hiring anybody else. A bigger office does not repair an unhappy one, it multiplies it.
