The open-source remake of Transport Tycoon Deluxe, and comfortably the deepest thing on a browser games list. You build road, rail, water and air links between industries and towns, and the rating each station earns for moving goods efficiently decides how much cargo turns up there next.
How to play
- Build stations near industries and towns, and the routes that connect them.
- Carry passengers and freight along those routes to earn money.
- Road, rail, water and air are all available, and one route can chain several of them together.
- Your company and each individual station carry ratings based on how efficiently goods move.
- A well-rated station attracts more goods than a poorly rated one.
Tips
- Serve one short profitable route properly before drawing a network. Ratings reward reliability, and an overstretched line rates worse than no line at all.
- Chain transport modes only when the handover is quick. Cargo sitting at a transfer point is exactly what the rating system punishes you for.
