About Dotto Botto
A ten-level pixel platformer with a going-home premise and a self-deprecating description. Moving platforms, spikes, power-ups, four enemy types and a final boss, which is a fairly complete list for a game this size. There are two endings, so finishing it once does not mean you have seen all of it.
How to play
- Guide Dotto through ten levels on the way home.
- Moving platforms and static traps are the two kinds of terrain problem to solve.
- Four enemy types appear, alongside spikes and other obstacles.
- Power-ups are scattered through the levels.
- A final boss waits at the end, and the game has two different endings.
Tips
- Moving platforms are timers, not floors. Step on knowing where you intend to get off, because standing on one to think is how it carries you into a spike.
- Two endings usually means one condition somewhere that you either met or did not. If the first finish feels abrupt, that is a reason to replay rather than to stop.
