About DD Blocky
Another entry in the fit-the-tetromino-into-a-grid family, with the shapes lifted straight from Tetris and none of the falling. You get a board and you get pieces, and what separates a good run from a bad one is entirely how much usable empty space you manage to keep.
How to play
- Drag each shape from the tray and drop it onto the puzzle board.
- The publisher documents both pointer and touch input, so it behaves the same on a desktop and on a phone.
- The pieces use the familiar Tetris shapes, but nothing descends on its own.
- Matching blocks on the board is how you make room for what comes next.
Tips
- Place the awkward shapes while the board still gives you a choice. Saving them for later is how these games end.
- Keep one clear row or column open at all times. It costs nothing and it is the only insurance against being handed a piece you cannot use.
