About Super Chains
A number-chaining puzzle with a light collection layer bolted on top. You link adjoining blocks whose values are equal or one apart, and longer chains are what the game rewards. The mythical creatures are a progression hook rather than a mechanic worth planning around.
How to play
- Build chains by linking blocks that adjoin one another.
- A block can join the chain if its value is the same, one higher, or one lower.
- Longer chains are worth more than short ones.
- Heroes collected along the way assist you on later boards.
Tips
- Look for runs that climb and then come back down. Because equal values are also legal, a chain can double back through a number it has already used and keep going.
- Take the long chain over the convenient one, but check where it leaves the board first. Emptying one region completely tends to cut the rest into groups that cannot link up.
