How to play
- Slide the board so that tiles of the same value meet and merge.
- A merge produces a single tile worth double the two that made it.
- Reaching the 2048 tile is the goal the publisher sets.
- The run ends when the board is full and no merge is left.
Tips
- Pick one corner, keep your largest tile in it, and never move in the direction that would dislodge it. That single discipline is most of the gap between a good run and a bad one.
- Merge the small values as they appear. A board littered with unmatched low tiles is what puts the large ones out of reach.
