About Car Rapide
An obstacle-dodging driving game set on the roads of Senegal, which is most of what distinguishes it from the rest of the genre. Coins picked up along the way unlock additional cars. Underneath the setting sits the familiar loop: keep moving, steer around whatever the road produces, and bank enough to change what you are driving.
How to play
- Drive along Senegalese roads and steer around the obstacles in your path.
- Coins are scattered along the route and are collected by driving over them.
- Collected coins unlock special cars.
Tips
- Take the coins that are already on your line and leave the ones that are not. In dodging games the detour costs more than the coin returns.
- Give any newly unlocked car a throwaway run. Vehicle swaps in games like this usually change how the thing responds, and finding that out mid-run is expensive.
