A defence game with a friendly-fire penalty. Zombies cross a bridge and every one that gets past costs you energy, but survivors are fleeing along the same route and hitting them is a mistake. Telling the two apart at speed is the whole test; the shooting itself is the easy part.

How to play

• Zombies attempt to cross the bridge, and stopping them is the objective.
• Every zombie that gets past damages your energy.
• Fleeing survivors move along the same route and must not be hit.
• The run lasts as long as your energy does.

Tips

• Identify before you fire, especially when the crowd is thickest. The penalty for a wrong target is what makes this harder than the zombie count suggests.
• Stop zombies early on the bridge rather than at the far end. The further out you take them, the less often a survivor is standing behind one.
