About Scorpion Solitaire
A solitaire variant pitched squarely at people who have worn out Klondike and Spider. Three difficulty settings, and a goal that is unusual for the genre: finishing is not the whole measure, finishing in as few moves as possible is. That changes how you play more than the difficulty selector does.
How to play
- Play Scorpion, a variant aimed at players already comfortable with Klondike and Spider.
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard before you start.
- Complete the deal in as few moves as you can manage.
Tips
- With move count as the measure, tidying for its own sake is a cost. Only move a card when the move buys you something you can name.
- Start on Easy even if standard solitaire bores you. The unfamiliar part here is the variant's own rules, not the difficulty.
