About FlashCount
A memory test stripped down to one question: how many red dots did you just see. Dots flash up and vanish, you give a number, that is the entire game. It is closer to a cognitive exercise than to entertainment, and it is refreshingly upfront about being nothing else.
How to play
- Red dots appear on screen and then disappear.
- Count them while they are visible.
- Give your answer once they are gone.
Tips
- Do not count one at a time. Reading small clusters of three or four at a glance is both faster and more accurate than counting individual dots.
- Fix your eyes on the centre of the screen instead of scanning it. Eye movement is what makes you lose track of what you have already counted.
